OK, here we go. A toe in the water instead of diving in head first.
I initially heard about blogging many years ago from a dear friend of mine, who always seems to find the cool stuff on the Web long before I do. Tempted as I was to get one going and typical of how I seem to spend most of my time, I was a little too busy with a range of other stuff to quite get my head around it. And it's subsequently taken me 4 or 5 years to get around to starting one.
Nowadays, even The Guardian's in on the game. I guess it's about time. Hopefully, it'll also act as a bit of a tidy-up exercise too for putting together all the various things I do on the Web.
I'll use this blog to collate my various projects, to list updates on them and to also run with the more standard thoughts, discoveries and musings that many of my fellow bloggers use the blogosphere for.
It'll take a little while to get up and running, but I guess that many things take time to grow into something much more than they began as.
So without further ado, here we go, I'm going in...
